HYANNIS 3RD ALARM
The Hyannis Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at
the
Yachtsman Condominiums at 500 Ocean Street at approximately 20:00 hrs
on Saturday October 8, 2022.
On arrival, units found fire and
smoke showing from the rear of one of the 2 story
buildings. A Working Fire Assignment was immediately requested and the fire
attack initiated. This was quickly followed by the 2nd and 3rd Alarm requests.
Departments responding to the scene
in addition to Hyannis, included Yarmouth,
Barnstable, COMM, West Barnstable, and Sandwich. Other departments
were activated to provide cover assignments.
The fire was quickly knocked down and
damage was contained.
