DECEMBER TRAINING
The Harwich Fire Department spent two days doing hands on training
evolutions at a building
on the property of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 240 Route 28 on December
28 & 29, 2020.
The building, which is scheduled to be torn down, was charged with artificial
smoke allowing
firefighters to simulate arriving at a working fire, making an interior attack,
performing
over the ladder vent-enter-search-rescues, cutting ventilation holes, and
conducting numerous
other evolutions over several hours of training.
