COMM FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING
The COMM FD was offered a home in Osterville to use for training, before the
1 story house is scheduled to be razed. The Evans Street house was used by
crews over several days in early January to practice simulated fire attack
and search and rescue procedures. A smoke machine created very low visibility
so that crews on SCBA have realistic conditions. Several evolutions are
conducted each day to give crews valuable experience.
