BOURNE CLAM BOIL
It was once an annual tradition for firefighters and families to gather and
enjoy a good meal.
Clam Bakes, Clam Boils, and other meals were often good opportunities for a few
members,
who know what to do and willing to do a little extra work. to put on a
great meal for retired and
active members and families.
It had been perhaps 20 years since the last time Bourne Fire
Department members
got together to enjoy a Clam Boil. On Sunday August 13, 2023 a few guys who knew
what they were doing fed a few dozen 'old' friends. Lobsters, clams, corn on the
cob, and
other treats were enjoyed by all.
