SANDWICH FIRE DEPARTMENT

1952 or 53 open cab Pirsch 65' Aerial Ladder
This was originally a Boston Aerial Ladder last assigned as Ladder 25
It was purchased by the Sandwich Fire Dept in 1973
becoming the first aerial in Sandwich.
It went out of service in the early 1980's
Sandwich went without an aerial until the new Tower arrived in 1996.
