Marblehead Fireboat
"BOAT 1"

The Town of Marblehead, Massachusetts is in Essex County.
The town is approximately 19.6 Square Miles and has a population
of approximately 20,000.

The Marblehead Fire Department protects the town from 2 fire stations
with 3 engines and 1 ladder truck.

The department operates a 2007 25' Safe Boat Defender Fire/Rescue Boat
that was acquired in 2013 as USCG surplus. It is powered by twin 225 hp
Honda outboards.

The boat is located at the Marblehead Harbormaster's dock on the
busy Marblehead Harbor.
