Cambridge Fireboat

The City of Cambridge, Massachusetts is located across the Charles River north of Boston.
This ISO Class I Fire Department protects approximately 100,000 population within a 6.25 Sq Mi area.
It is home to Harvard University and M.I.T.. It operates from 8 fire stations.

Marine 1 is a 2012 Viking Welding 30' aluminum fire boat with a 1500 gpm pump.
It carries 35 gallons of foam and has (2) deckguns, and a couple discharges.
Its is powered by twin outboards, with an inboard motor for the fire pump.
Marine 1 is docked in the Charles River near the Royal Sonesta Hotel and the Museum
of Science.
