Beverly Fireboat
"MARINE 1"
The City of Beverly, Massachusetts is located north of Boston.
In 2011, the Beverly Fire Department took delivery of a new 30' North River Fire Boat.
The boat is capable of pumping approximately 1500 gpm. It is powered by twin Honda outboards.
The boat was purchased with federal homeland security grant money.
It is docked at a pier near the Essex Bridge and is capable of responding to incidents
in the Beverly, Salem, Marblehead, Lynn area.
