Lake Havasu City Fire Department
"Fire Rescue Boat"
Lake Havasu City, AZ is located on the border of Arizona and California.
The lake itself is a manmade reservoir/recreational area created from the
Parker Dam on the Colorado River south of I-40.
The Fire-Rescue boat was built by Munson Boats in 2007.
The 30' aluminum landing craft style vessel has a 10' beam.
Powered by twin Honda 225 HP outboards.
Pumping capacity in excess of 1000 gpm with 2 deckguns.
The boat is capable of about 40 knots,
It is docked at a Marine Safety center along with a variety of other vessels
from
multiple agencies including local, county, states of Arizona and California,
Federal (USCG), and National Parks system located south of Havasu City.
