Each of the fire stations are staffed 24 hours a day.

	The old Centerville Fire Station, located at 565 Main Street, was one of the two original fire stations built in 1926. Over the years, the station was added onto several times to accommodate larger, modern apparatus. The station was closed in 1990 when the new Centerville Headquarters opened on Route 28. The station was known as Station 2. It is presently privately owned. The rear of the old Centerville Fire Station 2 faced South Main Street, with the driveway coming out next to Four Seas Ice Cream shop.	Next


	The old Marstons Mills Fire Station, located at 270 Route 149, was built in 1975. It was the original fire station in Marstons Mills. Prior to that time, all calls in Marstons Mills were handled from either the Osterville or Centerville fire stations. This building was a steel building with 3 bays. It was an unmanned, 'call' station until 1999, when 24 hour coverage was instituted here. The station was never built for 24 hour staffing, although firefighters made it livable until the new Marstons Mills Station 3 was opened in 2003, on the same property in front of the old station. This building was torn down and the land was lowered making the parking area behind the present station.	Next
