City of Pittsburgh
River Rescue Boats

The City of Pittsburgh is located where the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers meet
to form the Ohio River.  It is a busy port and frequently requires the response of EMS.
A few boats are located at the Pittsburgh River Rescue Station on the Allegheny River
below the Roberta Clemente Bridge and just beyond center field at the Pirate's PNC Park.

The boats are staffed by Paramedics and Divers as well as Law Enforcement.
Two of the boats are 31' Sea Arks which are ALS equipped.
The boats also have 500 gpm pumps.
